Abstract
Kirkeforliket i 2008 var en politisk avtale som lå til grunn for Grunnlovsendringene 21.mai 2012, som rørte ved forholdet mellom stat og kirke i Norge. Denne oppgaven er en casestudie som sporer prosessen, og analyserer hvilke faktorer som påvirker innholdet i forliket. Basert på dokumentanalyse og informantintervjuer dannes det et bilde av de politiske forhandlingene, den historiske utviklingen, og de organisatoriske omgivelsene som lå til grunn for avtalen.
The church conciliation of 2008 was a political agreement between the parties in the Norwegian parliament, which laid out the terms of the constitutional amendments in 2012, which concerned the relationship between church and state. This case study traces the process leading up to the agreement, and analyzes what factors influenced the content of the conciliation. Based on analysis of documents and qualitative interviews, the paper paints a picture of the political negotiations, the historical development and the organizational environment that formed a basis for agreement.
